We recommend using the web-app on desktop with the MetaMask wallet as a browser add-on, rather than a mobile device.
From signing up, to passed KYC and connecting your Web3 wallet, it usually only takes about 5 minutes or so.
1. Go to app.fluid.ch , create an account, and pass KYC.
This shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
2. Connect your Web3 wallet
All major wallets are supported, though we recommend Metamask.
You'll have to connect your wallet, prove ownership, and then whitelist it.
3. Deposit USD/EUR/GBP/CHF
We currently accept SEPA (Euro), FasterPayments(British Pound), and SWIFT transactions for all 4 currencies. More payment methods to come.
4. Get some Arbitrum ETH
To mint and transact your DigitalDollar ($DUSD), you'll need ETH on the Arbitrum network (AETH).
Our first 1000 sign-ups will receive ~$10 worth of AETH as a sign-up bonus, enabling them to mint their first DUSD and get started. We recommend you buy some AETH on Sushiswap, on the DUSD/AETH pool we created, for future transactions.
Alternatively, you can 'bridge' your regular ETH to Arbitrum, using the official bridge (bridge.arbitrum.io), or 3rd party services like Hop Protocol.
In the future, you'll be able to buy AETH directly in our app.
5. Mint your first DigitalDollar!
If you deposited a currency other than USD, you'll need to perform a quick fx-swap to USD.
You're then all set to mint your first DigitalDollar, directly from your bank account, to your web3 wallet!
In the future we'll also offer 1:1 on-chain verifiable stablecoins backed by the Euro, Great British Pound, Swiss Franc, and potentially even more.
What can you do with your DUSD?
The use case of DUSD will go up over time, as we add liquidity pools and partner with different protocols.
Initially, we'll provide a pool against ETH on Arbitrum (AETH), on Sushiswap.
Through Sushiswap's smart-routing, you'll be able to trade DUSD for anything trading against AETH on Sushiswap, as it automatically routes through the DUSD/AETH pool and into whatever asset you're buying.
