To provide the highest level of security, we ask you to confirm your identity before sensitive operations by way of '2FA', or Two-Factor Authentication. There are two options: using an authentication app (Google, Authy etc.) or using a crypto wallet signature, such as Metamask's.
Authentication app
When using an authentication app, you need to insert a code from the Fluid Finance app to the authentication app to connect accounts. Once connected, the authentication app generates codes that change over time, that you have to insert to Fluid Finance to verify sensitive actions such as withdrawing money.
Your authentication app is installed on your mobile device, while you can use Fluid Finance either on the same mobile device or on a desktop computer. The latter allows you to scan a QR-code generated by the Fluid web-app, while the former requires that you copy and paste the code.
We support all TOTP (Time-Based One-Time-Password) apps including Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, FreeOTP and more.
Start with the set-up by clicking the button 'Set up Authenticator'
Having Installed Google Authenticator on your mobile device, click on the continue button
Open Google Authenticator on your mobile device, press '+' -> press 'Scan a QR code' -> scan the QR code that our app shows.
Google Authenticator will add Fluid to the list of your accounts. Enter the 6-digit code it shows into the Fluid web-app. You've set it up! From now on you'll prove your sensitive operations by 6-digit code generated by Google Authenticator.
NOTE. If you are using your mobile device to access our site and can't scan the QR code, instead of scanning, copy the code by pressing the green icon with two overlapping squares in Fluid app then in Google Authenticator press '+' -> press 'Enter a setup key' ->paste the copied key.
That's it!

Crypto wallet authentication
You can use a crypto wallet signature as a simplified 2FA method to confirm your operations. Visit your profile page to change your preferred 2FA method. Click 'Crypto wallet signature' to select it as your 2FA method and confirm your selection in the next window.
You're done! From now on you'll verify your sensitive operations by pressing a button in your crypto wallet, your Metamask for example.
